Nine GLC pastors have been trained by Dr. Bill Beachy over the 2021/2022 school year. Those nine pastors are: Tim Decker, Troy Grider, Jon Grimshaw, Tracie Hunter, Jonah Langenderfer, Jeff McKinnon, Galen Oakes, Paul Pawelski, and Vicki Podjasek. I have placed the remaining pastors of the GLC with one of those leaders.
The Cared for While Leading leader will find a suitable time to meet via Zoom (or in person if proximity allows) eight times between the fall of 2022 and June of 2023. In the spring of 2023, I’ll get feedback from the leaders regarding the rhythm of eight times/year, or perhaps once/month.
All during this time, the nine leaders continue to meet monthly with Dr. Bill Beachy for encouragement and ongoing mentoring.
Here's how it works:
One of the offerings that the nine leaders can provide is the Strengths Deployment Inventory 2.0. The GLC will cover your $50 cost to take the inventory. This inventory measures what fuels your Motivation (People-Performance-Process), and how you deal with Conflict (Accommodate-Analyze-Assert). Having better self- awareness enhances greater potential to live in pastoral ministry with grace and life, rather than with ultimatums and disappointments.
Receive the grace of God from your sisters and brothers, and extend the grace of God to your sisters and brothers. As in Acts 2:42-47, we are devoting ourselves to fellowship/koinonia, and in the process, you will be “Cared for While Leading!”
